SKODA 24 Hours Cycling Le Mans: One two for the Dutch Scorpions Team
The 13th edition of the SKODA 24 Hours Cycling took place on 27/28 August 2022 on the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans. Taking advantage of an ideal weather, nearly 2.700 riders (580 teams - 14 nationalities) met to fight it out in a joy and good mood.

Die Anmeldung für die 14. Ausgabe des 24-Stunden Rennens am legendären Bugatti Circuit ist ab 10.1.2023 11:00 Uhr geöffnet. In diesem Jahr werden maximal 600 Teams zugelassen, davon 80 Soloplätze, 40 Duos und der Rest 4er, 6er und 8er Teams.

Shimano 24 Hours Cycling Le Mans: overall victory for the Dutchs of Sarto Team
On the occasion of the 12th edition of the Shimano 24 Hours Cycling of Le Mans, nearly 2400 riders were gathered 28/29 August 2021 on the Le Mans Circuit. 530 teams well-determined to have maximum of fun after the cancelation of the event in 2020, because of the pandemic.

Shimano 24 Hours Cycling in Le Mans 28.-29.8.2021 (21.-22.8.2021)
Die Anmeldung für die 12. Ausgabe des 24-Stunden Rennens am legendären Bugatti Circuit ist ab 19.01.2021 geöffnet. In diesem Jahr werden maximal 560 Teams mit insgesamt über 2.700 Teilnehmern in den Kategorien Solo, 2er, 4er, 6er oder 8er Teams erwartet.
The highlight of the event was the Le Mans-style start, which this year was given by Jean-René Bernaudeau, general manager of the TotalEnergies cycling team. Other personalities were present such as the karate player Leïla Heurtault, or the Sarthe pro rider Nicolas Edet, who came as a spectator to watch the start.
For the overall victory, the Dutch Scorpions Racing Team 1 & 2 achieved the one two with 245 laps covered (1025km). Manager Arjan Fidder comments: "It was the goal to keep our title ! We had built the teams for this, with sprinters for the start and finish, as well as long distance riders in the middle". Winners in 2019, the Socopa Viandes 1 team finished 3rd with one lap to go.
The first team in the "100% women's" ranking is the duo Team Lu - Duchesse Anne (n°2001), Iris Sachet and Justine Gegu are 86th overall with 933 kilometres (223 laps).
In the "solo" category, Damien Vuillier (n°1009) won with 221 laps (924km and 98th overall) and Nathalie Baillon (n°1000) in the women's category with 200 laps (837km and 258th overall).

The ŠKODA 24 Hours Cycling 2023 will take place on 26/27 August and registration will open in January.
